OperationsPipelines

Our refined product pipelines (approx. 1700 miles in all) transport light refined products from Holly Corporation's Navajo Refinery and Alon USA's Big Spring Refinery, as well as from third parties to customers in the metropolitan and rural areas of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, and northern Mexico. The products transported in these pipelines include conventional gasoline; federal, state, and local specification reformulated gasoline; low-octane gasoline for oxygenate blending; distillates that include low and ultra-low diesel and jet fuel.

We own a 70% interest in, and operate, the Rio Grande Pipeline Company, a joint venture pipeline, which transports LPG's from the Midland/Odessa area of West Texas to the Texas/ Mexico border near El Paso for further transport into northern Mexico.

Regularly inspected and well maintained, our pipelines are in good repair. The FERC regulates the transportation tariffs for interstate shipments, and state regulatory agencies regulate the tariffs for intrastate shipments.

Holly Corporation accounted for 58% of the refined product volumes transported on our refined product pipelines in 2007. For the same period, these pipelines transported approximately 96% of the light refined products transported by pipeline from the Navajo Refinery.
